Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Coastal Uncorked will be the signature event brand for the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and utilized to promote the culinary side of the hospitality industry and the destination. It will continue the mission of the association representing, educating & promoting the best in the hospitality & tourism industry here along the Grand Strand and grow needed scholarship dollars to keep future tourism and culinary leaders in the community.

June 15, 2013  43rd Annual Ridge Peach Festival  – Trenton, South Carolina
Whether you love Arts and Crafts, Antiques Tractors and Cars, or Delicious Festival Foods, the 43rd Annual Ridge Peach Festival has something for every member of your family. A Country Store featuring home canned peach preserves, jams, and jellies, along with your favorite peach desserts and ice cream are all waiting for you to arrive and enjoy. Our event has become more than a festival; It’s a reunion and gathering place for families. “Let’s meet at the Peach Festival!”

JULY 4, 2013 – There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 4, 2013  55th Annual Lexington County Peach Festival – Gilbert, South Carolina
Celebrate at the 55th annual festival with arts and crafts, children’s rides, and great peach-themed and other foods, a parade, three stages of entertainment, antique tractor and farm equipment display, car show, and fireworks.

July 11-13, 2013  South Carolina Festival of Discovery – Greenwood, South Carolina
BBQ, BLUES & FUN! The 13th annual KCBS sanctioned event will feature competitions in professional and backyard divisions.  Doesn’t matter whether you like mustard, ketchup, or vinegar based BBQ, you will find it here.  As well as just about any kind meat BBQ’ed as well…  Pork, Beef, Chicken, and Hash.  The Taster’s Choice is one of the premier events for the Public to be able to sample many different competitors best BBQ and vote for who you this is best.  Come out and try some, If you go away hungry, you have no one to blame but your self.  The Festival of Discovery will host outdoor concerts, an arts & crafts exhibition, and a hot dog eating contest.

July 11-13 & 19-20, 2013  South Carolina Peach Festival – Gaffney, South Carolina
Live entertainment, parade, BBQ cookoff, road races, antique car & tractor shows, peach dessert contest, talent contest and Peach Ball!

July 13, 2013  Palette & Palate Stroll – Charleston, South Carolina
Browse art and enjoy fine cuisine – an annual event to benefit the Fine Arts Dealers’ Association scholarship program.

October 12, 2013  Annual Chili Cookoff 2013 – Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Hilton Head’s local competition adheres to the strict tenet of “Anything Goes”.  From alligator to chicken to possum along with the more traditional fixins, you will find a bit of everything at the Chili Cookoff.   There are two types of judging for the competition.  First, the general public is allowed to vote for the best chili in both professional and amateur categories. A group of honorable judges determine the best chili in a separate judging.
