June 3-9, 2013 Wine & Food Week – Houston, Texas
One of the top 10 destination culinary and wine events in the US, Wine & Food Week’s gastronomic grandeur features more than 500 wines, 50 restaurants, legendary wine producers and culinary personalities from around the globe, and a vast collection of specialty beers and gourmet food purveyors. Wine education classes, chef demonstrations, cookbook author events, live and silent auctions, and casual to fine wine-and-dine experiences round out the week’s festivities.
June 7, 2013 Fort Worth Zoo Beastro – Fort Worth, Texas
Beastro is the Fort Worth Zoo’s annual music and tasting event that supports the Zoo’s local and international wildlife conservation and education efforts. Beastro features the finest area restaurants stationed throughout the Zoo serving sample appetizers, entrées and desserts. In addition to the delectable cuisine, the event features open bars throughout the park and live music entertainment. Several animal exhibits remain open until sunset.
June 7-8, 2013 41st Chisholm Trail Roundup BBQ & Chili Cook-Offs
With Music Festival. BBQ & Chili cook-offs, arts & crafts, etc. Always 2nd week in June. Chisholm Trail Roundup Rodeo & Parade etc. follows, on June 13-15.
June 7-8, 2013 Columbus Annual June BBQ Cookoff, – Columbus, Texas
Proceeds Benefit Columbus FFA Students. Help us send our students to the state convention!
June 8, 2013 24th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival – Nacogdoches, Texas
Tons of fresh blueberries, blueberry pancakes, blueberry pie, blueberry cobbler and blueberry ice cream contests. Kids will love the Blueberry Bounce Park, petting zoo, make and take arts and crafts, pet parade, The Big Blue Murals and more. Car & Motorcycle shows, pie eating contests, horse shoe and washers tournaments, food and arts vendors.
June 8, 2013 29th Annual Tomato Fest – Jacksonville, Texas
This family fun day includes arts and craft booths, street dance, a fishing tournament, home-grown tomato contest, tomato eating and peeling contests, gospel concert, auction and kids’ activities.
June 13-15, 2013 Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee – Stockdale, Texas
First celebrated in 1937, the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee is one of the oldest watermelon festivals in Texas. Held Thursday through Saturday in beautiful Stockdale City Park, the 3rd weekend in June.
June 13-15, 2013 Holland Corn Festival 2013 – Holland, Texas
Come and celebrate with us! This is the 39th year Holland has celebrated the local cash crop. Events include a parade, 5k run, contests, street dance, barbecue cook-off, arts & crafts, carnival and much more.
June 16, 2013 Real Men Cook – Dallas, Texas
Real Men Cook promotes male involvement, education, outreach and advocacy on food resources, healthy eating, healthcare and public policies on these issues. Takes place each year on Father’s Day in cities across the U.S. A national movement, get involved!
June 21-22, 2013 Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo – Stonewall, Texas
The 52nd annual event will celebrate the peach harvest with rodeo and bull riding events, dancing, live music, a parade, contests, auctions and more.
June 23-24, 2013 Southwest Foodservice Expo – Dallas, Texas
As the largest foodservice tradeshow in the region, Expo brings together all aspects of the industry for business, networking, education and fun.

July 3-7, 2013 66th Annual Fishin’ Fiesta – Freeport, Texas

July 4, 2013 DairyFest 2013 – Stephenville, Texas
DairyFest is held each year to recognize and promote the influence of the dairy industry in Erath, Comanche, and Hamilton counties. Bring the whole family and remind your employees, neighbors, and friends to come enjoy all the dairy-related food, games, and entertainment.

July 12-13, 2013 K-Town BBQ Cookoff & Music Festival – Kosciusko, Texas
Time to kick it in K-town. 8th annual K-town BBQ Cook-Off & Texas Music Concert.
July 12-13, 2013 65th Annual McDade Watermelon Festival – McDade, Texas
The festivities kick off Friday night with a street dance with live music, food and beverages. Saturday at 7am the melon weigh-in begins, followed by a parade and a full day of music, food, games, melon auction, and much, much more!
July 12-14, 2013 27th Annual Taste of Dallas – Dallas, Texas
Eat. Drink. Shop. Repeat. Mark your calendars and get your tastebuds ready! The largest tasting event in DFW. Prepare your palate for a weekend of culinary delights from Dallas’ top chefs and most popular restaurants – not to mention fantastic music, plenty for the kids to do, and lots to shop, eat and see. Taste of Dallas is a slice of life, served up hot and fresh and waiting for you. Attendance: 150,000.
July 13, 2013 Parker County Peach Festival – Weatherford, Texas
Offers many peach related foods as well as over 200 art/craft, food and activity booths, live music, children’s activities, the Peach Pedal bike ride and a domino tourney. Attendance: 45,000.
July 19-20, 2013 Night In Old Fredericksburg – Fredericksburg, Texas
Great German food & drink, German & Texas music, arts and crafts, kids area, historical exhibits.
July 20, 2013 24th Annual Hempstead Watermelon Festival – Hempstead, Texas
The Watermelon Capital of Texas. Music, parade, great food and BBQ cookoff. Homegrown and commercial watermelon contests.
July 20, 2013 Chili and Chillin’ – Fredericksburg, Texas

July 20, 2013 Great Texas Lakefest & BBQ Cookoff – Somerville, Texas
