May 4, 2013  Fayetteville Foam Fest – Fayetteville, Arkansas
The craft beer appreciation event raises funds for Feed Fayetteville.

May 4, 2013  Heritage Herb Day – Mountain View, Arkansas
‘The Ozark Folk Center. Hands on activities, lectures, demonstrations, vendors & tours of the garden!

May 17-18, 2013  22nd Annual Picklefest – Atkins, Arkansas
Come out and participate in the pickle eating and juice drinking contests, arts & crafts booths, food vendors–one with the famous fried pickles, tractor pull, rodeo, parade, and more.

May 17-18, 2013  30th Annual Crawfish Festival – Dermott, Arkansas
One of Arkansas’ most successful festivals, the award winning Dermott Crawfish Festival, a food and music festival, is sponsored by the Dermott Chamber of Commerce. Don’t miss the live music, crawfish dinners, official crawfish t-shirts, arts, crafts & food vendors and free train and fire truck rides for the children on Saturday.

May 17-18, 2013  Magnolia Blossom Festival & World Championship Steak Cook-Off
Magnolia, Arkansas
25th Annual Magnolia Blossom Festival and 24th Annual World Championship Steak Cook-Off. This will also be the 63rd Anniversary of the Sidewalk Art Show. This year’s festival is sure to be grand as there are several new events being planned along with some fantastic music acts.

May 17-19, 2013  International Greek Food Festival – Little Rock, Arkansas
Medley of Greek and Middle Eastern cuisines. Indoor Old World Market offers exceptional imports, artwork, pastries and coffee bar. Live entertainment.

June 7-8, 2013  37th Annual Wynne Farm Fest – Wynne, Arkansas
Farm Fest includes the Delta Smoke BBQ Contest, music, arts & crafts, a bake-off contest, antique tractor show and 5K & 10K runs.

June 13-15, 2013  57th Annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival – Warren, Arkansas
During the Pink Tomato Festival, there’s dancing in the streets – literally! All in celebration of that symbol of Bradley County – the tomato.

June 13-15, 2013  13th Annual Art of Wine Festival – Fayetteville, Arkansas
Good food, good friends and good wine–all the ingredients necessary for an entertaining evening out.

June 15, 2013 Wingfest   – Fayetteville, Arkansas
Area restaurants go head-to-head to see who has the best Chicken Wings. Restaurants compete for the title of Best Buffalo, Most Exotic, Best Overall–Peoples Choice, and Best Overall–Judges Choice.

June 29, 2013  Annual PurpleHull Pea Festival & World Championship Rotary Tiller Race – Emerson, Arkansas
You won’t see anything else quite like it.  We’re a small town festival with the best purple hull peas on earth, and the world’s fastest garden tillers.

JULY 4, 2013 – There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 9, 2013 3rd Annual Fleur Delicious Weekend   –  : Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Celebrate all things French–six days of fine food, wine, music, culture. Can’t get to Paris? Come to Eureka Springs!

July 12, 2013 2nd Annual Guy Peachfest   – Guy, Arkansas
There will be a Beauty Pageant, 5K Run/Walk, Parade, Classic Car Show & Shine, Horseshoe Tournament, Peach Cook-off, Poker Run, Vendor Booths, Concessions, Rodeo, & Live Music. There will be something for everyone. The festival starts on Friday afternoon and run through Saturday night with a Firework Finale.

July 25, 2013 72nd Annual Johnson County Peach Festival – Clarksville, Arkansas
In addition to kid friendly events there is a parade, lip sync, street dances, peach cobbler bake-off, jam and jelly contest, 4-mile run, and horseshoe pitching.

July 26-27, 2013 30th Annual Altus Wine Fest  – Atlus, Arkansas
Grape stomps & games, fresh grapes, food, music, Juried Arts & Crafts, street dances, cellar & vineyard tours & tasting, Bacchus look-alike contest, amateur wine making contest, lots more!

August 6-10, 2013 115th Annual Tontitown Grape Festival   – Tontitown, Arkansas
There’s something for everyone at the Tontitown Grape Fesitival! Don’t miss our grape ice cream and homemade spaghetti dinners that we are most famous for!

August 8-10, 2013 37th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival – Hope, Arkansas
Festival celebrating Hope’s giant watermelons, includes arts & crafts, watermelon eating, seed spitting, watermelon weigh-in, headline entertainment, and ice-cold Hope watermelon sold by the slice.

August 9, 2013  Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry – Little Rock, Arkansas
Building on the success of the first No Kid Hungry Little Rock event in 2012, we are excited to bring our second annual No Kid Hungry Little Rock event to the Capital Hotel. The event will be a tasting style throughout the mezzanine area of the hotel. Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry events feature some of the nation’s most renowned chefs joining together to end childhood hunger in America.  This year, we’re inviting the top chefs from around the South to join us in Little Rock.

September 7, 2013  Arkansas Championship Hillbilly Chili Cook-Off   – Bull Shoals, Arkansas

Cooks from all over Arkansas and surrounding states compete for the title of “Arkansas Best Chili.” Taste the chili and visit vendors as the cooks turn up the heat.

September 26, 2013 20th Annual Taste of the Town   – North Little Rock, Arkansas
Taste of the Town gives the business community an opportunity to sample the “Tastes” that our region has to offer. Taste of the Town has become one of the area’s leading business networking events with over 1,200 attendees and more than 30 local restaurants, caterers and drink distributors participating.

September 27-29, 2013 Chuck Wagon Cook-Off   – Mountain View, Arkansas
Enjoy authentic wagons and meet the people who have preserved them. On Saturday come taste and authentic dutch oven meal, and pick your favorite to choose from.


October Festivals and Events in Arkansas

October 4-5, 2013 30th Annual Timberfest – Sheridan, Arkansas
Lumberjack championship, horseshoe tournament, bingo, guitar hero, pet, car, bow shoot, and talent show, BBQ cook-off, 2K and 5K race, parade, run and pass and kick, pinewood derby, lots of singing.

October 4-5, 2013 Bismarck Bar B Que-Bash   – Bismarck, Arkansas
Live bands, FFA petting zoo, beauty pageant, talent show, arts and crafts, food trucks, antique car show with trophy’s awarded, kiddie rides and jump houses, a 5K race, bingo, a dunking booth, parade and lots of Bar B Que.

October 5, 2013 12th Annual International Festival – Rogers, Arkansas
Traditional ethnic foods, cultural exhibits, international dancing, music, free children’s activities and an international fashion show. More than 50 countries are represented. The event is reflective of the diverse population of the northwest Arkansas community and showcases and allows interaction with the different cultures, costumes, traditions and languages of our community.

October 11-20, 2013  Arkansas State Fair – Little Rock, Arkansas
Ridin’, Rockin’ & Livestockin’, the Arkansas State Fair will include concerts, great food, midway, livestock displays & competitions, rodeo, interesting exhibits, and much more. The event typically draws over 400,000 each year.

October 12, 2013 6th Annual Fall Fest  – London, Arkansas
German Lutheran community festival featuring German food, “Tour de Augsburg ‘Ridin’ the Mountain’ bike race, dutch oven cooking contest, all-day entertainment, petting zoo, pony rides, games, bingo, antique tractor show, arts & crafts displays and vendors, bump-and-jump, door prizes, cake walk, silent auction, raffle for half a beef.

October 19, 2013  Oktoberfest   – Rogers, Arkansas
A whole day of food, music and fun for the family. Enjoy the sounds of the Oom-pah-pah bands and Hammerschlagen, the scents of bratwurst and pretzels!

October 19, 2013 2013 Mid-South Great Steak Cook-off  – West Memphis, Arkansas

Teams from all over the mid-south converge on Southland Park Gaming & Racing in West Memphis for a fun-filled day of steak cooking, a bike show, a cornhole tournament, and headline entertainment.

October 26-27, 2013 31st Annual Beanfest Festival  – Mountain View, Arkansas
Beans and Cornbread, music, dancing on Courthouse Square, handmade crafts and outrageous outhouse races. The Beanfest Cooking Champion” and the “Arkansas Outhouse Races Champion” are crowned. Watch the next generation of Outhouse racers compete, as the kids take their seats in pedal powered Outhouses. The KWOZ talent show is held on the Square after the outhouse races.

December Festivals and Events in Arkansas

December 7, 2013 – Dutch Oven Dessert and Game Night   – Star City, Arkansas

Park guests and local community members are invited to a Dutch oven dessert and game night! A Dutch oven outdoor cooking demonstration will be given by the park interpreter, and then we will play recreational and table games as we wait for dessert to cook.
