This is a third generation banana nut muffin recipe. Moist and Delicious!

Banana Nut Muffins


  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/2 cup(s) melted unsalted butter
  • 2cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 3/4 cup(s) pecans, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Mix the bananas, beaten egg, melted butter and sugar
  3. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt
  4. Add flour mixture to banana mixture, add pecans and mix until just moist
  5. Put mixture in baking cups
  6. Bake 25 minutes until muffins are browned on top
