Destination Cuisine Adds Recipe Box
I’m excited to let you all know about a new feature here at MyDestinationCuisine.com. You’ll notice that I’ve added a Save Recipe button to each recipe post, so you can now save your favorites to your own personal recipe boxes, along with any other recipes you find across the web. You can also save the recipe ingredients to your online shopping lists with one click.
I’ve teamed up with ZipList to make this happen. Check it out with one of my favorite recipes Antipasto Platter.
What is Ziplist?
ZipList is a free online recipe box. They have free mobile apps, or you can use their website. You can access your recipe box from your phone or computer any time you want.
How Does Ziplist Work?
Once you’ve signed up for a ZipList account (totally free), anytime you hit this little “save” button on MBA from now on, the recipe will be saved to your ZipList recipe box, and the ingredients will be added to your grocery list.
If you already have certain ingredients, you can easily remove some items, or change the quantities of others.
ZipList partners with tons of food sites across the web, including Martha Stewart, Woman’s Day, and the The Daily Meal.
Save your recipes to an online recipe box and shopping list with one click. It couldn’t any easier.
Now you can have all your favorite recipes in one spot, plan a week’s worth of menus from them, and add the items you need for those recipes to your grocery list with hardly any effort at all.
I hope that you like the new ZipList addition. I was always finding I make return trips for forgotten items from the store and I am hoping this new feature will make this happen a lot less often, and menu planning a breeze!
You can also access your recipe box and shopping list from my website, ZipList.com and using free mobile apps so you have what you need to plan meals and grocery shop wherever you go.
Pretty cool, huh? I’m excited to hear what you all think!
