Destination Cuisine Announces August Cooking Class

The July cooking class oversold and we are already 1/2 booked for the August 30th class. Put August 30th on your calendars now for the next Immersion Cooking Class hosted by Destination Cuisine and Angelo’s Italian Market. Our first immersed cooking class in Sarasoa, FL oversold in July. Don’t wait to reserve your spot for August 30th. With high demand and only 10 spots available, you will not be disappointed as we reveal a few of Emilio Rossitto’s Italian Cooking Secrets. Emilio is the owner of Angelo’s Market in Venice, FL and we are grateful for his continued sponsorship and support in these classes. This is not your typical cooking class. Destination Cuisine is a food and travel company that is forming the largest CULTure for people that embrace those genres. It’s for people who, very simply love food and travel. What is a Destination Cooking Class

We have had so many requests to do an immersed cooking class in Sarasota, FL that we wanted to post the class now so you can get your reservation in. With high demand and only 10 spots available, you shouldn’t wait. This is not your typical cooking class. Destination Cuisine is a food and travel company that is forming the largest CULTure for people that embrace those genres. It’s for people who, very simply love food and travel. The intermediate level cooking class on July 12, 2013 will sweep you away to Italy where you will see amazing photography, listen to beautiful Italian music and of course cook. We will prepare a five course Italian meal with a hands on or hands off cooking demonstration (participation encouraged but not required) and includes Italian wines. For three hours, you will think you’ve been transported to Italy. The courses will be finalized as the date draws closer as we strive to gain authentic ingredients which sometimes affect menu items.

Why We’re Different

Much like taking a trip, you will bring home great memories, recipes to re-create for family and friends and most likely scrumptious leftovers. Owner and Editor of Destination Cuisine, Laura Raymond will host the class in her beautiful home in East Sarasota. She is also a photographer who will give you tips and tricks to taking beautiful vacation and food photos. She has hosted many supper clubs over the past twenty years, loves to entertain and has an insatiable passion for travel, cooking, food and photography. Every picture has a story and travel photography is no different. She will also share cooking and travel tips, stories and secrets gathered from her visits to Italy. Photography for the evening is provided by VisualSplash Photography, Ms. Raymond’s Photography company.

Cooking, Culture and Photography

Think of the Destination Cuisine Cooking Class as a travel and food show, where you can learn about the culture of a destination, see all it has to offer, taste the exquisite foods of the region and share stories of travel to that country or region. This will be the first in a series. Each destination cooking class promises to TAKE you away, and let YOU come away with your own memories of a very special night.
