Libby’s Fall/ Winter Menu 2014 is a Home Run

Libby’s does it again with a Fall/Winter menu that truly captures the essence of the changing seasons.

Libby’s serves up lunch daily from 11:30 – 3:00. The Following is their scrumptious new lunch menu selections

Libby’s New Winter Menu Honors

The Best Of The Best

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Libby’s Café + Bar’s team of partners and chefs have compiled new winter menus for Lunch, Cocktails, Happy Hour and its Signature Classic Cocktails and extensive Bar Menus, Early Dining Prix Fixe, Dinner and Sunday Brunch. Collectively, these menus showcase the best of the best of the 10 menus it has debuted since opening in 2008 along with a few creative additions. Priced from $3 to $38 with 29 plates priced at $15 or less, good taste can also be pocketbook friendly, allowing diners to customize their dining experience based on their taste preferences, from indulgent creative comfort food variations to healthier, Simply Grilled Gluten Free and Vegetarian options.

Small Plates

Setting the stage is the five-year and running Deviled Eggs with Mote Marine Sturgeon Caviar and Four Cheese & Pear Tortelloni, joined by Pigs in Pretzel Blanket, Karubi Pork Belly Ribs, the signature Kobe Meatloaf Sliders, Citizens Park Cheesesteak Eggroll and Red Lentil Quinoa Cakes, to name a few. Newcomers include Baked Potato Flatbread and Cast Iron Meatballs.

Soups & Salads

Housemade from stocks for its Organic Country Soup and Sweet Corn & Clam Chowder to salad dressings and garnishes, nine soup and salad options for dinner and four additional entrée salads for lunch provide plenty of good-for-you to heartier options. Ranging from Heirloom Beets with Candied Pistachio, Swiss Chard, Goat Cheese-Greek Yogurt Dressing to the Famous Iceberg Wedge with Proscuitto, Moody Blue Cheese, Applewood Bacon, Tomato and Onion Frites and longtime favorite Grilled Veggie Chop Salad, there’s something for every salad-loving diner.

Large Plates

Larger plates run the gamut from sea to land. Celebrating its Florida roots, Grouper, Red Snapper and Mahi Mahi are prevalent with some new menu adaptations, both as entrees and in handhelds. Steak and pork lovers can go from the Korean influenced Bulgogi Beef Tacos to Braised Lamb Shank or Short Ribs, Flat Iron Steak Frites or Pork “Chateaubriand.” Noodle dishes come in four variations, from the ever-popular Angel Hair Carbonara to Spaghetti and Handmade Meatballs to Seafood Pasta.

Hours & Information

Located at 1917 Osprey Avenue in the Hillview Neighborhood 10 minutes from downtown Sarasota, Libby’s is open daily for lunch, early dining Prix Fixe (3:30-5:30 pm) Happy Hour (4-7 pm) and dinner service on Mon-Sat 11:30 am to close. Sundays begin at 10:30 am with an order-off-the-menu Brunch, including the area’s most extensive Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar, featuring more than 50 custom ingredients. Dinner service follows. Complimentary on-street and private lot parking is always available.
