June 1, 2013  FLOW Strawberry Festival – Windham, New Hampshire
For more than a quarter of a century, the arrival of the Strawberry Moon has meant the Friends of the Library of Windham will hold their Annual Strawberry Festival and Book Fair. It is  one of the largest community events in Windham each year and the primary fundraising event for the Nesmith Library.

June 8-9, 2013  Inn to Inn Spring Herb Tour – Mount Washington Valley, New Hampshire
Savor the glories of spring in the White Mountains with our annual event, the Spring Herb Tour. Visit 10 premier inns and learn all about fresh herbs– their uses, history, and versatility.

June 14-16, 2013  Rock’n Ribfest – Merrimack, New Hampshire
Enjoy the best barbecue in New Hampshire with a variety of music and entertainment! One weekend only at Anheuser-Busch, all of the funds raised at the Rotary Rock’n Ribfest go to support area non-profit organizations, so come on out and enjoy helping others!

Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation is the nation’s premier culinary benefit, featuring top chefs and mixologists — all of whom are coming together to donate their time, talent and passion to end childhood hunger in America.

June 29, 2013  New England Brewfest – Lincoln, New Hampshire
9th annual New England Brewfest!  Join us at the Lincoln Village Shops in the heart of the White Mountains, Lincoln, NH to sample and learn about these delicious craft brews. While you’re tasting, enjoy live entertainment, craft beer education programs, great food and exhibits offering brew paraphernalia and souvenirs.

July Festivals and Events in New Hampshire

JULY 4, 2013 – There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 27, 2013  Art, Wine & Cheese – Waterville Valley, New Hampshire
A lively afternoon filled with works by local and regional artists, live music, sampling of wines from our own Waterville Valley eateries, and cheese tasting sponsored by Cabot Creamery. Artwork in a variety of media, donated by local and regional artists, will be auctioned off to benefit the art and science education programs of the Margret and H.A. Rey Center.

August Festivals and Events in New Hampshire

August 3, 2013  14th Annual Chocolate & Jazz – Waterville Valley, New Hampshire
At Town Square, from 5:30 to 8:30pm an outdoor concert featuring the smooth sounds of Jazz will accompany a selection of chocolate temptations by Town Square merchants. The concert is free; desserts are sold by the piece.

August 17-19, 2012  Hancock Old Home Day 2012 – Hancock, New Hampshire
Hancock has celebrated Old Home Day for more than 120 years. The celebration includes the Hancock Town Picnic and a parade. Townspeople see the gathering as a way to encourage others who have moved away to come back and visit. Apparently, other people in the state thought it was a good idea as well. Today, invitations are sent out across the country to relatives and New Hampshire descendants to return for the statewide celebration. In 1899, New Hampshire Governor Frank Rollins made Old Home Day a state holiday.

September 7-9, 2012

August 29-Sept 2, 2013  Hopkinton State Fair – Contoocook, New Hampshire
The 98th annual fair will include livestock exhibits, home & garden exhibits, family farm museum, petting farm, grandstand entertainment, and the Mac & the Big Cheese Ultimate Outdoor Cooking comedic cooking show.

September Festivals and Events in New Hampshire

September 7-9, 2012  23rd Annual Hampton Beach Seafood Festival
Hampton Beach, New Hampshire
60 of the seacoast’s top restaurants serving our world famous New England seafood. Arts & crafts, continuous entertainment, chef demonstrations, lobster roll eating contest, kiddie land, skydiving and fireworks.

September 8, 2012  Vintage & Vine – Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Strawbery Banke Museum presents Vintage & Vine, offering guests a rare opportunity to taste hundreds of wines alongside selections created by some of the Seacoast’s best chefs and restaurants. The New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets representatives and wine brokers are active participants in the event, providing tasting notes and suggestions and will be selling wines at a special discount good only at the event. The VIP Reserve Tasting from 4-5:30 pm (VIP ticket, which includes admission to the main event, required) allows guests to sample valuable, rare vintages, retailing for more than $100 per bottle.


September 28, 2013  15th Annual Chili Challenge – Waterville Valley, New Hampshire
Waterville Valley area restaurants compete in Town Square for the title of the best chili around!  Attendees pay a sampling fee to taste all contender’s chilis and then they can vote for their favorite chili. The event starts at noon, accompanied by a free outdoor concert.

October Festivals and Events in New Hampshire

Milford Great Pumpkin Festival is held each year in the fall. Featured are some of the largest pumpkins in New Hampshire on display, musicians and entertainers, food, crafts and lots of events for kids. Other events and activities include: kids can make their own scarecrows, face painting on the Community House Lawn and live music on two stages. If you’re feeling hungry for soup, hot cider, doughnuts, waffles or smoked ribs, there is no shortage of food!!
Attendance: 35,000.

October 6, 2012  Apple Harvest Day – Dover, New Hampshire
Going 28 years strong, Apple Harvest Day takes place on the first Saturday in October and welcomes over 25,000 visitors to Dover for the biggest autumn craft fair in the Seacoast. With over 300 vendors, four stages filled with entertainment, Orchard Alley, kids activities and wonderful food, Apple Harvest Day is a can’t miss. The Apple Harvest Day 5k, now in its 4th year, kicks off the day at 8:30am. Attendance: 25,000.

October 20, 2012  4th Annual Wine Chocolate Fundraiser – Manchester, New Hampshire
A night of live music, wine and chocolate, and live and silent auctions!  All proceeds from this event will be used to provide daily and medical care for the stray and abandoned animals of Manchester. Despite our small size and staff, we have helped over 20,000 animals since 1996. October 20, 2012  22nd Annual Pumpkin Festival – Keene, New Hampshire
Thousands and thousands of carved pumpkins, costume parade, seed spitting & pie eating contests, music on three stages, crafts and fireworks.

November 12, 2012  Fall Family Farm Day – Troy, New Hampshire
Hands on farm activities will take place all day. Cow milking, making butter, meeting the animals, egg collecting, pony rides, arts and crafts, and hayrides are a handful of events planned for the day.

November 28, 2013  Thanksgiving Day – Nationwide
There are so many events on Thanksgiving Day they are to numerous to list.  (4th Thursday in November).

Dec 8, 2012  8th Annual Currier & Ives Cookie Tour – Cheshire County, New Hampshire
Get into the holiday spirit with our cookie tour! Visit local inns and businesses to taste their homemade treats. Each participant will receive recipe cards of the treats offered. Refreshments will be provided as well.

December 8-9, 2012  16th Annual Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie & Candy Tour
Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire
Two day self-guided tour of twelve area inns to taste cookies, candy, recipes to go, and decorating ideas just in time for the holidays.
